sliding doors for double glazed sides

Full height panels can be openings in your glass room. If space allows, the openings
can be very wide, up to 2.5m. The door furniture is bespoke stainless steel, the glass
sits in a wheelhousing which has heavy duty bearings to give an easy glide along the
base track. The guide rail at the top has a frictionless bearing, a special nylon block which
slides smoothly on the steel track.

vent

A metal box section with holes on two sides allows air to flow out of the room, this is
fitted where the top of the glass roof meets the wall, the hottest part of the room. The
vent has a hit or miss grille to close the vent on cooler days.

seamless glass wall join

Where the glass butts up to a wall, we cut a slot into the wall and then, very carefully with
the crane, slot the glass into the wall. This can be quite a stressful manoeuvre, but the
resulting seamless change from wall to glass is quite amazing.

adjustable brackets

Green oak is a freshly cut wood and as it dries there is a small amount of natural
shrinkage (longitudinal shrinkage is 0.002% = 2mm/ m). This movement can be taken
up with our unique adjustable brackets. Included in our price is a site visit after 12
months to check on the frame and make any necessary adjustments.
